The company was founded in 1946 by my grandfather. He was a woodworker by trade and the advent of the first ever paid holidays gave him the idea of creating a child's toy.

This idea gave rise to a unique product, a wooden toy boat which really sailed. Three generations of our family have now shared our craft through our own registered designs.
